DeJonge Excavating has completed various utility and drainage projects around the City of Venice and has scheduled AJAX Paving to mill and pave the work site areas.
There will now be intermittent lane closures on Friday, Oct. 27 (previously scheduled for Oct. 26) during the day and Sunday, Oct. 29 at night during this work.
The following are the locations where new asphalt will be installed:
Oct. 27, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• The Esplanade between the north and south W. Venice Ave. intersections
• On the south side of W. Venice Ave. east of Armada Rd. S.
• At the intersection of Park Blvd. S. and the south side of W. Venice Ave.
Oct. 29, after 8 p.m.
• Pinebrook Rd. at the intersection of E. Venice Ave. (north side)
During this work, large equipment and machinery will be within the road right-of-way. There will be intermittent lane closures and flag workers present. Motorists are to follow posted traffic control signs. Please drive slowly, use caution, and watch out for pedestrians and workers.
