The City of Venice Utilities Department will resume work to replace a section of the existing gravity sewer system, including a section of storm drain. The repairs will take place over the next two weeks, Oct. 2-18, near the Venice Beach area and the 600 block of W. Venice Ave. Large equipment and machinery will be within the road right-of-way. Traffic will be reduced to one lane, so some delays may be experienced. Please follow posted traffic control signs, drive slowly, and watch out for pedestrians and workers. We appreciate your patience as these repairs to the gravity sewer system are made.
