Smoky Mountain Handmade Candles offers an extensive variety of candles made from the highest grade and purest wax on the market with a long burn time and a high degree of scent. Shop proprietors Marty and Charles Fabiszak, an innovative father and son duo, are always experimenting with new scents, creating some 135 so far. According to Charles, “When making our products, we keep everything all-natural and do not use anything we cannot pronounce.”

We use 100% PURE PALM WAX, allowing these candles to be the cleanest burning candles on the market. The palm wax we use is made from food grade palm oil. We only work with palm oil from plantations that are certified for using only sustainable agricultural practices. Palm wax candles are very hard, smooth and dry. They can withstand summer heat without bending or melting and don’t have an oily feel. Not only do our Palm Wax Candles burn very clean, they do not emanate soot into the air, they also have the distinct advantage of a long burning time and have a crystallization look in the jar.

We only use flat, coreless cotton wick braided with a special filament woven around them. This configuration is engineered to promote maximum and consistent burn while ensuring a wick trimming flame posture.
