Established in 1964, the Gulf Coast Mineral, Fossil and Gem Club is a friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate group which meets monthly to promote, educate, and instruct in the many fields of earth sciences, specimen collecting, and jewelry design.
MEETINGS
We meet the third Monday of every month.
Our current meeting location is Venice Municipal Mobile Home Park, 780 Firenze Ave E, Venice, FL 34285.
6:30pm to 8:30pm with the meeting officially starting at 7:00pm.
Each meeting features a presentation on a variety of topics including, mineral and fossil collecting, lapidary arts, and other geology related subjects.
Everyone is welcome to bring in specimens for identification.
Light refreshments are served.
Monthly raffles.
