The Florida Conservation Group, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, focuses on the conservation of both natural and agricultural lands. We support land protection programs and conservation incentives and fight for science-based land conservation funding. We are active on the local, state and federal levels.
Who We Are
We are scientists, ranchers and conservation and policy experts who advocate, educate, and facilitate land conservation and other private land incentive programs. Our focus is the conservation of Florida’s natural and agricultural lands, especially the vast ranchlands of southern Florida. Our goal is to advance science-based land protection in Florida.
What We Do
We protect Florida’s water, wildlife, and working lands through advocacy and utilizing the best available science to implement land protection on the ground. We are committed to ensuring that our conservation land protection programs work in areas most important for protecting our water, wildlife, and way of life.
Where We Work
We work to protect Florida’s natural and working lands including the vast ranchlands of south Florida and the working forests of north Florida.
