The Jazz Club of Sarasota—one of the largest and most active jazz societies in the United States—is dedicated to preserving, presenting and promoting jazz, America’s original musical art form. Founded in 1980, the Club continues to provide over 50 jazz-related events annually for more than 35 years. The Club’s highly respected Sarasota Jazz Festival, March 5-11, 2017, and the widely popular Jazz Pub Crawl at Octoberfest in the fall presents some of the greatest jazz musicians in free and ticketed events held at popular restaurant venues in downtown Sarasota. Highlights of 2017 include free Joy of Jazz concerts in Venice on three Sundays: January 22, February 19 and March 26. The Club also presents educational programs and scholarships. Join us!
