    Together with our partners, we provide healthy solutions to end hunger in our community.

    All Faiths Food Bank, awarded a consecutive 4-star rating by Charity Navigator, is a member of Feeding America, the hub of hunger relief in Sarasota and DeSoto counties and serves more than 63,000 neighbors in need through its member network that includes human services organizations, schools, faith-based and secular organizations, and other groups that serve the community.

    Benevolent Patriotic Order of Does is committed to exemplify the Principles of Patriotism, Charity, Loyalty and Love; to acknowledge a belief in God; to promote charitable works, patriotic ceremonies and social functions to instill hospitality and a spirit of love, patriotism and fellowship among our Members; to exist independently from the Benevolent, Protective Order of Elks of the United States of America, but always with the desire to work in harmony with them and to keep uppermost in mind the idealism of Elkdom.

    Are you looking for an intimate meaningful Prayer experience? Try Chabad Jewish Center! At Chabad we don't pray with labels or levels. Every one talks to G‑d on their level and in their language and pace. The services are led in the ancient traditional manner but are tailored to the individual's needs. Followed always by a scrumptious Kiddush.

  • Friends of the Venice Public Library

    In 1962, a small group of Venice citizens, including author Walter Farley and his wife Rosemary, established the Friends of the Venice Public Library, Inc. The Friends determined to "foster the establishment and sound, long-range support of the most outstanding public library service possible for the Venice area".

  • Friendship Centers

    On the other side of that canasta hand you just might find a new friend. At Friendship Centers, people are playing pinochle and mah-jongg, enjoying ballroom dancing, and growing stronger through yoga. You can also meet others while you try your hand at woodcarving or quilting.

  • Grace United Methodist Church

    Simply put, Grace United Methodist Church exists to bring the awesome life and grace of Christ to a lost and broken world through outreach in our own community and abroad. The Church, established in 1961, continues to be a Venice Island landmark symbolizing a place where people can find God's grace, hope, and love. As part of the United Methodist Church, we profess the historic Christian faith. We currently provide two Sunday morning worship experiences, a Contemporary Service at 9am and a Traditional Service at 11am. Come see for yourself what makes Grace on the Island so special.
