Many years of restaurant experience in Manhattan, NYC gave owners Ersen and Yuliya Irsel an amazing opportunity to introduce Venetians to fresh, organic, tasty Mediterranean Turkish food and an amazing New York style restaurant dining experience. ​We believe that homemade delicious food made out of fresh ingredients and an outstanding dining experience has made Bodrum Restaurant a well known hot spot for locals and visitors of Venice and all of Sarasota County.

Chef Ersen Irsel adds his vision to traditional Mediterranean cooking and an unforgettable style creating a unique fusion of Turkish, Greek and Middle Eastern cuisine. All dishes are daily made from hand picked meats, fish and vegetables. Every day we shop for our restaurant in local markets.

Ersen’s Lamb Chops and Adana Kebab (ground lamb with spices grilled on skewer) make lamb lovers frequently return to the restaurant for their favorite dishes. The Sampler Mezze Platter with complimentary delicious grilled Pita bread will please vegetarian, vegan and just vegetable-loving guests with unique savory palette. Enjoy our famous Falafel, hand rolled Sigara Borek, Sucuk (authentic grilled sausages) and many other daily fresh dishes.
